Psychological Testing and Therapeutic Assessment

Psychological testing can help you gain clarity, validation, and direction when you’re unsure what’s going on or what kind of support you need. It also might help you confirm something you’ve wondered about your whole life.

Whether you’re exploring ADHD, personality patterns, mood differences, or learning challenges, a comprehensive psychological evaluation can provide a clearer understanding of your strengths, patterns, and areas of difficulty.

Therapeutic assessment is about more than receiving a diagnosis. It is a collaborative process that uses structured testing tools to deepen your self-understanding and support meaningful growth. Together, we will review your results in practical, compassionate language so you can make informed decisions about treatment, accommodations, or next steps and feel more grounded in how you understand yourself.

What To Expect from Psychological Testing

Testing begins with a brief intake conversation where we review your concerns, history, and goals. From there, you will complete a combination of questionnaires and structured tasks that measure areas such as attention, executive functioning, learning, mood, personality, and information processing.

Most psychological testing takes several hours and is typically spread across 1 to 4 sessions, depending on the scope of the evaluation. After testing is complete, we will schedule a feedback session where I explain your results in clear, accessible language. You will have space to ask questions and talk through what the findings mean for your daily life, relationships, work, or school.

I also accept referrals from therapists and healthcare providers seeking ADHD testing, personality assessment, or diagnostic clarification for their clients. If you are a provider with referral questions, feel free to reach out for consultation.
